Privacy policy.
Last updated: 14 July 2026. This explains what data Creoweb collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
Creoweb is the trading name of Tom Dyre, a sole trader based at Causey Hill, Hexham, Northumberland, NE46 2DL, United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR, Tom Dyre t/a Creoweb is the data controller for any personal data collected through creoweb.co.uk.
What we collect
When you use the contact form or otherwise get in touch, we collect your name, email address, phone number, business name and the content of any message you send us. We don't collect anything beyond what you give us directly.
Why we collect it, and our legal basis
We use this data to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote and deliver the web design service you've asked for. This is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (responding to enquiries you've initiated) and, where you become a client, to perform the contract between us.
Who we share it with
Contact form submissions are processed and forwarded to our inbox by Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service. If you become a client, payments are handled by Stripe. Neither Web3Forms nor Stripe is used for advertising, and your data is never sold or shared with anyone else for marketing purposes.
International transfers
Web3Forms and Stripe may process data on servers outside the UK or EEA as part of their standard infrastructure. Where this happens, both providers maintain their own appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers. We don't transfer your data anywhere ourselves beyond using these processors.
Cookies and tracking
This site currently uses no analytics or advertising cookies or trackers, no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, nothing tracking you across sessions. The cookie banner you may see exists so that if we introduce analytics in future, it will be opt-in rather than switched on by default. See our cookie policy for more detail.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you, or for the length of any ongoing work and care plan, then deleted. We don't keep data indefinitely "just in case."
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including limiting who has access to it and using reputable third-party processors who maintain their own security standards.
Children's privacy
This service is aimed at business owners and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and request it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
